Comprehensive Testing for Cigar Smoke and Filler
Overview
McKinney Specialty Labs is a world leader in cigar testing using CORESTA cigar methods and in-house validated methods. Throughout the years, our scientist have tested thousands of varieties of cigars. Our testing methods allow us to test cigarillos, small cigars, large cigars, and premium cigars and offer the following:
- Fully validated HPHC testing specific to cigars
- The ability to test cigars of multiple lengths and ring gauge sizes
- Advanced analytics on a per cigar level
- Individual tracking for smoke analysis
- Testing of up to 25 cigar brands per week
McKinney Specialty Labs has validated A2LA-Accredited Methods for the following HPHCs in cigars:
- Carbonyl Compounds
- Volatile Organic Compounds
- Aromatic Amines
- Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)
- Metals
- TNCO
- Tobacco-Specific Nitrosamines (TSNAs)
